Is it possible to deceive the AvtoGRAF tracker?
It is possible to break it, like any other device, but it is impossible to deceive it. In the standard operating mode, data falsification is impossible.
How much information is transmitted by the device via the GPRS channel?

Approximately 2–5 MB per month per device. The following factors affect the amount of traffic:

— set recording parameters;

— mobile operator;

— signal quality;

— nature of vehicle movement (with adaptive recording)
Why is data transmitted to the server at certain intervals, and not constantly?
Constantly transmitting data is not economically feasible. Transmitting useful information about one point (12 bytes) is accompanied by the mandatory transmission of a packet header (24 bytes), which leads to an increase in GPRS traffic (and, accordingly, the cost of paying for it) by three times.
Can the tracker be used as a security system?
Initially, the onboard controller was developed as a monitoring device. We did not position it as a security system and do not intend to do so in the future. Nevertheless, in our practice, there are cases of using the tracker for this purpose and cases of successful recovery of stolen cars with its help. We separately emphasize that we are not responsible for such non-intended use of the tracker and possible problems associated with it.
